RIYADH GOVERNOR AWARDS WINNERS OF MU PRIZE FOR COMMUNITY SERVICE

Riyadh Governor Prince Faisal bin Abdul Aziz al-Saud awarded in his office winners of Majmaah University Prize for Community Service (3rd version).

MU rector, Dr. Khalid al-Muqren extended his thanks to Prince Faisal for being supportive to the initiatives of the university aiming to improve its services.

Dr. al-Muqren also highlighted the achievements and exceptional services provided by the university to community members and local institutions located within its geographical area.

The Riyadh Governor commended the efforts expanded by MU, including the services and initiatives which are growing every year, hailing the prize and all its categories.  

In a brief delivered by Dr. Omar al-Sharyofi, the dean of Deanship of Community Service, he explained the prize as well as its areas and categories, praising the support of the prize by the university leaders and local community.

The gesture of Riyadh Governor to award winners of the prize for the past years has had a positive impact as the community initiatives’ indicators increased, added Dr. al-Sharyofi.  

Winners of the prize were awarded along with sponsors and a memorial shield was presented by MU recto to Riyadh Governor.

The executive manager of the prize, Dr. Adel al-Turki pointed out that the working team of the prize has received a full support from MU rector, Dr. al-Muqren, and the vice-rector, Prof. Musallam al-Dosari, which resulted in the success of this prize over the last three years.
