In a ceremony held to celebrate the international anti-corruption day, Prof. Saleh Al-Mizil, MU rector, launched a series of activities. The ceremony began by a film showing the administrative and financial corruption, cclarifying the concepts of integrity, transparency and corruption as well as the importance of adhering to regulations and staying away from areas of suspicion. It also explained the importance of providing information to the general public about policies, regulations, instructions and government decisions, and not exploiting the job for personal gain.
The different types and levels of corruption were highlighted, including bribery, embezzlement, waste and squandering public money as well as the negative effects of corruption.
The film was concluded by presenting the efforts of the Integrity Friends Club at the university, which aims to promote self-censorship among university employees and the community.
