MU HOLDS A MEETING TO ACTIVATE PARTNERSHIP WITH CHARITY COMMITTEE FOR ORPHANS CARE

A meeting held by MU, represented by the Vice-Rector’s Office for Student Affairs, to activate the social partnership with Charity Committee for Orphans Care. Present were the vice-rector, Dr. Jawaher Al-Omar, the supervisor of the Committee, Ms. Areej Al-Sahali, the supervisor of Social Responsibility Observatory, Dr. Jameela Al-Harbi, and vice-deans and heads of departments.

The meeting began by a recitation of Holy Quran followed by the vice-rector’s speech which highlighted the university’s strategic goals since establishment, and that community service is one of these vital pursuits. To that end, Dr. Al-Omar welcomed the partnership with the Charity Committee at female campus, noting that an associated exhibition will be held for productive families in the campus.

Ms. Al-Sahali expressed her gratitude with this partnership, highlighting “we are delighted to collaborate with you once again to fulfill the committee’s vision and goals which are providing the best possible services to orphans”.

Dr. Jamila Al-Harbi, supervisor of SRO at female campus, briefed the audience about the partnership, highlighting the efforts of the university in the area of social responsibility and the list of achievements in institutions, training and partnership.
