MU HOLDS A FORUM FOR EDITORS-IN-CHIEF OF SCIENTIFIC JOURNALS

As part of a project that promotes the efficiency of research written in Arabic language in social science and humanities, MU held an online forum for editor-in-chief of journals under the patronage of the vice-rector for graduate studies and scientific research, Dr. Ahmed Al-Rumaih.   

The aim of the forum is to propose standards that make publication requirements match those of international ones. Two themes were addressed in the forum: standards of publication in Saudi journals and the obstacles facing researchers in publishing.

Dr. Al-Rumaih, the editor-in-chief of MU periodicals, talked about the goals of Periodicals Journal, particularly the importance of publishing in Arabic language.

Dr. Tariq Al-Bahlal, the editor-in-chief of the Journal of Humanities and Administrative Sciences, explained the standards of publishing in the university journal, the fund given to researchers and preparations to register the journal in international scientific database.   

The forum was concluded by a Q&A session followed by making recommendations.
