MU RECTOR: INTERNATIONAL EDUCATION CONFERENCE IS AN OPPORTUNITY TO EXCHANGE EXPERIENCE FOR DEVELOPMENT IN EDUCATION

MU rector, Prof. Al-Mizil, stated that the university is very keen to participate in the International Conference and Exhibition for Education, organized by the Ministry of Education. Good preparation should be taken as this event is significant and aims to achieve strategic goals adopted by the Ministry of Education, particularly those related to the challenges of fighting not only the current Covid-19, but also future pandemics to ensure that the education process if not disturbed. 

The conference also addresses the requirements of developing the infrastructure for distance education, the activating of cooperation between the concerned authorities that include the Ministry of Education, on one hand, and the other sectors, on the other hand, such as educational software companies, computer technology companies, and telecommunications companies. 

Prof. Al-Mizil also said that the conference will focus on the means of developing teachers' skills in distance education and how they should adopt themselves during crisis, reviewing the available opportunities to develop education in the Kingdom, exchanging expertise and experiences that reflect the desire for development and global competitiveness, introducing incentives for investment in education and attracting local and global opportunities and overcoming the challenges as well as providing solutions that contribute to improving the level of education outputs and efficiency in accordance with international standards and indicators for measurement and evaluation.
