MU SIGNS TWO MoU WITH JEDDAH UNIVERSITY

Prof. Saleh Al-Mezal, MU rector, welcomed in his office a delegation of Jeddah University (JU) - headed by the university's rector, Prof. Adnan Al-Humeidan -  to sign two Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The two sides discussed the details of the MoUs before signing them.  

The first MoU on quality and measurement was signed by the deans of development and quality at both universities, Dr. Faris Al-Faris and Dr. Alaa Mujahed. 

The other MoU on exchanging organizational, administrative, and academic expertise was signed by the CEOs of Applied College, Dr. Shadi Al-Shuwayer and Dr. Nora Al-Shehri.

JU's delegation toured the university's facilities and investing projects accompanied by MU's rector and vice-rectors. 

 The MoU on quality and measurement features sharing multiple issues related to institutional excellence, quality and academic accreditation. 

The MoU on exchanging organizational, administrative, and academic expertise focuses on introducing and developing diploma programs - both in-person and online -, monitoring the quality of programs and services by reviewing the application of the regulations of applied colleges in Saudi universities, how to obtain license for conducting online diploma programs following the requirements of the National Center for E-Learning, exchanging data and performance indicators, developing software and applications that can be used to develop work and holding joint scientific, cultural, and social activities.
