MU VICE-RECTOR LAUNCHES THE 2ND RESEARCH SCHOOL

The Vice-Rector for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, Prof. Mohammed Al-Shehri, launched the second research school, which is held at the research centers of the Vice-Rector's Office for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research. The aim of this school is to develop human capabilities in the scientific research and innovation field in cooperation with the Deanship of Student Affairs and the Student Fund with a particular focus on the Engineering Research and Applied Sciences Center, the Health and Basic Research Center, the Humanities and Administrative Research Center, and the Basic Sciences Unit.

The research school organizes an intensive research training program designed for students from different colleges. The school's primary focus is scientific research and its principles, taking into account the idea of improving the university's strategic plan of scientific research culture and high-quality research.

The 5-week school features 8 hands-on workshops with more than 45 trainers and 120 students. In these workshops, the students will learn to face the challenges facing the geographical area served by the university along with the fundamentals of scientific research such as writing a research proposal, research design, biostatistics, and methods of collecting and analyzing data.
