MU RECEIVES (4) ISO CERTIFICATES IN QUALITY AND EXCELLENCE FROM PRINCESS NOUF AL-SAUD

MU received four ISO certificates during a ceremony held in the VIP Hall in the presence of MU rector, Prof. Saleh Al-Mezal, and Princess Nouf Al Saud, Chairman of Board of Directors of Liajlehm Association for serving people with disabilities, and the vice-rector for development and investment, Prof. Musallam Al-Dosari.

The ceremony began with a presentation by Dr. Abdullah Bajhazer, who highlighted the importance and advantages of ISO with a detailed explanation of each of the four certificates: Educational Institutions Management System (ISO 21001): This system demonstrates the university’s commitment to creating an innovative educational environment to achieve academic goals and improve teaching and learning strategies to meet students’ needs; Business Continuity System (ISO 22301): This system ensures the university’s ability to deal with crises and emergencies through comprehensive plans in various circumstances with a focus on mitigating risks and safety of all individuals; Occupational Safety and Health System (ISO 45001): This system focuses on promoting a safe work environment by implementing standards and policies to maintain and enhance occupational safety and health; and Information Technology Services Management System (ISO 20000): This system aims to improve the efficiency and quality of services provided by developing effective strategies for managing IT services and ensuring that customer needs are met and data is protected.

Prof. Al-Dosari delivered a welcoming speech and pointed out the importance of meeting the requirements and standards of ISO to improve the university's performance and outcomes. 

Princess Nouf Al Saud commended the efforts made by the university, expressing her gratitude of the university's role in developing society. 

At the end of the ceremony, MU rector, Prof. Al-Mezal received the certificates from Princess Nouf Al Saud, and  honored the work team who was behind this achievement.
