MU HOLDS A MEDIA FORUM TO DEVELOP STUDENTS' MEDIA SKILLS

Under the patronage of MU Rector, Prof. Saleh Al-Mezal, the Media Center at MU held a media forum, in cooperation with the Deanship of Student Affairs and in partnership with MBC Academy, to enhance students' media skills. The forum targeted students to empower them with media skills to participate effectively in the development and production of media.

The 2-day forum featured multiple interactive workshops to explore and refine students skills. These workshops focused on scriptwriting, cinematic makeup, directing, and sound engineering. Over 400 male and female participants availed themselves of the forum to discover their talent.

This forum is part of the university's pursuit to strengthen the relationship between education and the media sector through strategic partnerships with major media institutions such as MBC Group to enable its students to contribute to the development of Saudi media. This cooperation is an important step towards achieving the Kingdom's Vision 2030.

The participants expressed their gratitude for this event to develop their media skills, hoping that such initiatives that bridge the gap between academic and professionalism would always be conducted to contribute to preparing a creative media generation capable of meeting the needs of the labor market.
