MU SIGNS THREE MOUs WITH 'MODON' AND THE NATIONAL ACADEMY FOR INDUSTRY

At the request of MU Rector, Prof. Saleh Al-Mezal, and under the patronage of the Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, Mr. Bandar Al-Khorayef, the Applied College at MU signed three memorandum of understandings (MoU) with the Saudi Authority for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones "MODON" and the National Academy for Industry. 

This MoUs aims to develop human capabilities in the industrial sector, support the growth and development of local communities and achieve the goals of the Human Capacity Development Program and the National Industrial Strategy that are aligned with the Kingdom's Vision 2030. 

The MoUs seeks to achieve multiple goals including: creating job opportunities for graduate students in factories and industrial and mining facilities, providing cooperative training for students in these facilities, and developing training programs for the industrial and mining sectors to meet the needs of the labor market.

The MoUs was signed by the CEO of the Applied College, Dr. Shadi Al-Shuwayer, the CEO of Saudi Authority for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones (MODON), Eng. Majed Al-Arqoubi, and the Undersecretary of the Ministry for Human Capacity Development Eng. Faris Al-Saqabi.
