SAUDI CIFAL CENTER PARTICIPATES IN RIYADH INTERNATIONAL HUMANITARIAN FORUM

At the request of MU Rector, Prof. Saleh Al-Mezal, and under the supervision of the Vice-Rector for Development and Investment, Prof. Musallam Al-Dosari, The CIFAL Saudi Center has successfully concluded its participation in Riyadh International Humanitarian Forum. This participation aligns with the university’s contributions to the Kingdom’s efforts in empowering humanitarian work, as part of its strategic plan to promote the concepts of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 2030.

The Center participated in the exhibition accompanying the forum to highlight the Saudi CIFAL Center's efforts in training and empowering workers in the humanitarian sector through specialized training programs and consultancy services and studies to enhance the efficiency of developmental and relief projects.

The Center organized a workshop titled 'Integrating the Sustainable Development Goals 2030 into Humanitarian Practices' which was attended by leading figures from developmental and relief institutions at both regional and international levels. They discussed the importance of aligning humanitarian practices with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) for 2030 and explored ways to strengthen partnerships to achieve sustainable impact in target communities.
