The Observatory Unit at the Astronomical Observatory in Hawtat Sudair has embarked on sighting Shawwal crescent 1446 based on Um Al-Qura Calendar.
The Observatory stated that based on the scientific calculations made by the Observatory on Saturday 29 Ramadan (29th March 2025), the moon will disappear after the sun which is expected to sunset at 6:12 pm and the crescent at 6:20 pm.
The Astronomical Observatory at MU was established and equipped with the latest technological tools and academic and scientific expertise specialized in crescent moon sighting and astronomical calculations.
