Dr. Ali Al-Sa'awi, Dean of Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, launched the "Mentorship of a Young Researcher 2025" initiative launched by the Deanship in cooperation with the Education Directorate in Majmaah. The initiative targets gifted students in general education who will be trained to participate in the National Olympiad for Scientific Creativity 2026 which will last for 8 weeks.
Dr. Reem Al-Shunaifi, Vice Dean of Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, explained that the program aims to prepare students to participate in the National Olympiad for Scientific Creativity 2026 by assigning each student a specialized faculty supervisor from the university. Gifted students in scientific fields will receive continuous and specialized mentoring from expert advisors, with the supervision sessions held in the evenings at the central library and research centers.
This initiative reflects the university's ongoing commitment towards community partnership, leveraging the available resources of the university, and enhancing its social impact by empowering future generations in line with Majmaah University’s vision and strategic goals.
