Prof. Mohammed Al-Aboudi, Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs at MU, took part in the 20th meeting of the Committee of Vice-Rectors for Educational and Academic Affairs in Saudi Universities, hosted by King Khalid University. The meeting was attended by vice-rectors from public and private universities across the Kingdom, along with representatives from the Education and Training Evaluation Commission.

During the meeting, Prof. Al-Aboudi presented MU's experience in implementing exit points as a successful model for developing academic programs. The initiative was well-received and appreciated, as it represents a significant step in increasing flexibility in educational pathways and aligning with labor market needs.

He emphasized the importance of such regular meetings for sharing experiences and strengthening collaboration among universities. He highlighted that the presented experiences reflect the progress made by higher education institutions in the Kingdom, especially in improving academic programs and developing teaching competencies, in line with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.

The meeting also included discussions on several strategic topics, including:

  • The Saudi Classification Standards (SAQR)
  • Utilizing the results of the “Jahiziya” readiness exam
  • Accreditation of applied college programs
  • Strategies for attracting qualified faculty
  • Experiences from leading universities in Tajseer programs, interdisciplinary programs, and cooperative training.
