20250804812In a ceremony held at MU’s Guest Hall, His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Abdulrahman Al Saud, CEO of the For Them Association for Persons with Disabilities and CEO of Eshhad Administrative Foundation, joined MU Rector, Prof. Saleh Al-Mezal, to celebrate a new milestone: the University has been awarded four ISO certifications from the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). MU received certifications in: ISO 30414 – Human Resource Management, ISO 27001 – Information Security Management, ISO 56001 – Innovation Management and ISO 14001 – Environmental Management for Sustainability.
Several previously obtained ISO certifications were successfully renewed after, underscoring MU's commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Dr. Abdullah Bajahzar delivered a presentation on the value of ISO standards, highlighting that ISO is not just a certificate but a culture of excellence and sustained practice that enhances institutional performance and outcomes.
In his address, Prince Faisal bin Abdulrahman praised MU’s accomplishments, describing it as a role model both locally and internationally. Excellence is essential for competitiveness, added Prince Faisal who expressed his pride in the University’s role in advancing sustainable development and serving the community.
The ceremony ended with handing ISO certificates to the Rector by His Royal Highness and exchanging commemorative shields with partner organizations.
