Prior to the beginning of the scientific sessions, MU Rector, Prof. Al-Mezal inaugurated the accompanying exhibition and toured the participants' booths and listened to a detailed explanation of their projects.

The opening ceremony featured a recitation from the Holy Qur’an, followed by a short film highlighting the conference’s objectives and key institutional achievements. The conference partners and contributors were also honored. The plenary sessions then kicked off with a keynote addressed by HRH Princess Dr. Nouf Al Saud.

Over two days, the conference hosts a series of sessions addressing advances in stroke prevention, early diagnosis, treatment, clinical care, rehabilitation, and post-stroke quality of life. The program also explores modern rehabilitation technologies, innovations in nursing care and oral health, and evidence-based approaches to stroke prevention. Sessions are delivered by distinguished experts and researchers from multiple disciplines.

The conference underscores Majmaah University’s commitment to community health, the advancement of medical practice, and the improvement of healthcare outcomes for stroke patients. It aims to promote scientific dialogue, support knowledge exchange among specialists, and highlight the latest innovations in stroke care, rehabilitation, and recovery.

A key focus of this conference is the role of innovation, advanced technologies, and artificial intelligence in strengthening healthcare services and enhancing interdisciplinary collaboration, in line with global developments in stroke management.

Aligned with Saudi Vision 2030 and the university’s strategic priorities, the conference contributes to building a more efficient, resilient, and patient-centered healthcare system that places quality of life at its core.
