APPLIED COLLEGE HOSTS A FORUM ON STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIPS AND CELEBRATES GRADUATION OF FIRST BATCH

Under the patronage of MU Rector, Prof. Saleh Al-Mezal, and in the presence of the Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs, Prof. Mohammed Al-Aboudi, the Applied College organized an event titled “Strategic Partnerships and the Future of the Labor Market.” The event was accompanied by the graduation ceremony of the first cohort of students from the Diploma in Management for Persons with Disabilities.

The event was attended by several of the College’s partners, including the sponsor of the Diploma Program, Bank AlJazira, represented by its First Deputy CEO and Head of Sustainability and Social Responsibility, Dr. Fahad Al-Olayan. MU leaders, deans, and representatives from government, private, and nonprofit sectors.

The forum highlighted the importance of building bridges of collaboration across sectors and emphasized the role of educational institutions in qualifying competitive and innovative national talents. It also showcased successful experiences in employment and professional qualification.

The graduation of the first cohort marked a significant milestone in the College’s journey. Graduates who successfully completed the program were honored in recognition of their achievement

The event also featured an accompanying exhibition where the College’s partners presented training and employment opportunities, as well as joint initiatives. A series of workshops was held, focusing on future skills, digital transformation, enhancing students’ career readiness, and developing CVs using artificial intelligence technologies.

This event is an evidence of the Applied College’s commitment to adopting a comprehensive, practice-oriented educational model that strengthens sustainable partnerships and contributes to achieving national development goals through investment in human capital.
