MU AWARDS WINNERS OF SALIK TRAFFIC SAFETY CONTEST AND SIGNS MOUs TO PROMOTE ROAD SAFETY AWARENESS

Under the patronage of the Vice Rector for Development and Investment, Prof. Musallam Al-Dosari, and in the presence of traffic directors from Zulfi, Ghat, and Majmaah, MU awarded the College of Engineering student team the first place in the Salik Traffic Safety Contest.

The contest was organized for students across all colleges under the supervision of the Deanship of Student Affairs and the General Administration of Services. It aimed to promote awareness of traffic safety and encourage student participation in activities that support a culture of road safety across the University community.

During the event, the Vice Rector honored the evaluators and participating teams. Multiple Memoranda of understanding were also signed with Aman Association for Traffic Safety and the Maq’ad Endowment Foundation for Child Car Safety. These partnerships reflect the University’s commitment to collaborating with key stakeholders to promote road safety awareness and protect lives and property, in alignment with the objectives of Saudi Vision and the Quality of Life Program to reduce traffic accidents.

The event also featured the launch of the Salik Traffic Safety Contest for primary school students in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs and Rowad University Schools to instill traffic safety awareness among young students.
