His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulazaziz, Riyadh Governor, honored winners of the fifth Majmaah University Community Service Award.
The recognition took place during a reception attended by MU Rector Prof. Saleh Al-Mezal, representatives of the award's sponsor, Al Rajhi Bank, along with members of the award committee.
Prince Faisal praised the University's efforts to serve its faculty, students, and the wider community through initiatives and partnerships with government, nonprofit, and private-sector organizations.
Prof. Al-Mezal expressed his appreciation to the Governor for his longstanding support of the University's initiatives as well as the patronage of the award over the past five years.
Majmaah University Community Service Award is presented annually to promote a culture of community engagement and recognize outstanding contributions by individuals and organizations, said Al-Mezal, adding that the award supports excellence in community service across the University and the local community and honors recipients who meet the established evaluation criteria.
