Majmaah University (MU), represented by the Applied College, signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Qudra Military Industries at Sudair City for Industry and Business.
The agreement supports the University's strategic partnership with the Saudi Authority for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones (MODON) and aims to expand cooperation in academic and professional training, helping students gain practical experience and improve their readiness for future careers. The initiative also supports the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 by developing national talent and strengthening workforce capabilities.
Under the MoU, the two parties will collaborate in several areas, including training and consulting services, knowledge and skills development, field training opportunities for Applied College students, career opportunities for graduates, and the design of specialized educational and training programs that meet labor market needs.
The agreement was signed on behalf of MU by Dr. Shadi Al-Shuwayer, CEO of the Applied College, and on behalf of Qudra by Thumairi Al-Thumairi, Business Development Director. The signing ceremony was attended by Eng. Faisal Al-Shalaan, Executive Director of Sudair City for Industry and Business, who highlighted the importance of partnerships that support industrial development and invest in national talent.
Following the signing ceremony, MU representatives discussed with officials from several factories in Sudair City for Industry and Business about future collaboration and explore additional training and employment opportunities for students.
