MU’s ranking

In alignment with Majmaah University’s vision “to be locally distinguished, globally competitive, and a meaningful contributor to knowledge and development,” and in support of the MU’s second strategic goal, "enhancing the MU’s ranking”, the Ranking Department plays a central role in advancing this objective.

University rankings are vital indicators for decision-makers in higher-level governing bodies, for the private sector in building educational, research, and investment partnerships, for students seeking top-quality institutions, and for universities themselves as tools for benchmarking and improving performance.

To support this mission, MU empowers the Ranking Department to drive progress on ranking-related indicators, including improving educational outcomes and strengthening scientific research.

The Ranking Department consolidates and highlights the efforts of all colleges and departments by collecting, organizing, and submitting essential data to national and international ranking organizations. The team also conducts continuous evaluations to enhance the University’s reputation across various ranking systems, identifying improvement opportunities, and offering workshops and recommendations based on best practices relevant to each ranking body.

The Ranking Department continuously reviews the methodologies of global ranking systems to develop strategies that ensure MU’s ranking improves in line with the latest developments in the field.
