The study of how to apply statistical data management techniques to real-world issues is known as Applied Statistics and Data Management (AS&DM).
The program aims to:
- Equip graduates with the ability to effectively describe their work, communicate core statistical principles, and identify potential areas for further data analysis.
- Ensure graduates are well-versed in the fundamentals of data management, statistical techniques, data presentation and visualization, and study documentation, including information related to human development.
- Prepare graduates for employment in a wide range of data-intensive fields across institutions in banking, public policy, insurance, healthcare, and both public and private sectors.
- Enable graduates to apply best practices for interacting with diverse datasets using various programming languages for data analysis.
