Master of Arts in Literature and Criticism

3. Preparing distinguished researchers who greet the high Arab heritage.
4. Preparing a graduate who maintains linguistic identity to contribute to the community

• Teaching at the undergraduate level.
• Teaching at all stages of pre-university education.
• Teaching in all specialized education centers.
• Work in research centers.
• Literary clubs.
• Language proofreader in the public and private sectors.
• Press and media.
• Language editor in the public and private sectors.
• Providing language consultations.

General Requirements:

1. The applicant must be a Saudi national, or have an official scholarship for postgraduate studies if they are a non-Saudi.
2. Must hold a bachelor's degree from a Saudi university or a recognized foreign university in Arabic language studies.
3. ⁠Must have good conduct and be medically fit.
4. Must provide two academic recommendations from professors who have previously taught them.

Specific Requirements:

1. ⁠The program name in Arabic: ماجستير الآداب في الأدب والنقد, and in English: Master of Arts in Literary and Criticism.
2. The maximum number of accepted students is 20.
3. Reserve students: 10.
4. Students with distance education degrees are not accepted.
5. ⁠The applicant's GPA must be at least 3.5 ("High Good") in their undergraduate studies.
6. Must pass the General Aptitude Test for University Graduates.
7. Must pass the written exam conducted by the college ( minimum passing score: 60).Upon passing the written exam, applicants will be ranked based on the following criteria:
   • 50% - Undergraduate GPA
   • 30% - General Aptitude Test score
   • 10% - Written exam score
   • ⁠10% - Personal interview score
