Overview

The Master's Program in Health Services and Hospital Management was established at the College of Management at Majmaah University in 1438 AH. It aims to graduate qualified leaders who meet the needs of the labor market in the field of health administration. The program seeks to achieve distinguished educational outcomes that enable students to acquire the skills and knowledge necessary to efficiently manage health institutions.

The program focuses on developing students' capabilities in areas such as performance management, health services organization, and strategic planning in the health sector, contributing to enhancing their ability to make scientifically based decisions.

The program also seeks to instill a set of core values ​​in students, such as integrity and professional ethical practices, enhancing their ability to work efficiently and honestly in diverse health care work environments.

The program also encourages students to actively participate in research and professional groups and supports their responsibility and initiative in professional planning. Through these elements, the program aims to prepare leaders capable of meeting contemporary challenges in the health sector and contributing to the development and improvement of health services in the community.

Requirements

  1. ⁠The applicant must be Saudi or hold an official postgraduate scholarship if they are non-Saudi.
  2. ⁠The applicant must have a bachelor’s degree in Health Services and Hospital Administration, Business Administration, or a health-related/applied medical specialization from a Saudi university or a recognized foreign university.
  3. Must have good conduct and behavior and be medically fit.
  4. Must provide two academic recommendations from professors who have previously taught them.
  5. ⁠If employed, the applicant must obtain approval from their employer, especially if required by their workplace.
  6. The applicant must have a cumulative GPA of at least: (3.25 out of 5, or 2.5 out of 4, or 75 out of 100) from a Saudi university or a recognized foreign university.
  7. ⁠Must attach the General Aptitude Test (GAT) results for university graduates.
  8. ⁠Must pass the written exam and personal interview conducted by the department.
  9. ⁠The applicant must have an IELTS score of at least 3, or an equivalent score in the National Center for Assessment STEP test, or a recognized TOEFL test (PBT, CBT, or IBT).
