Overview

Biomedical Engineering (BME) is one of the rapidly growing fields due to recent advancements in medical technologies related to treatment and diagnostic strategies, which are expected to provide significant benefits for the growth of societies.

The Master's program in Biomedical Engineering (MSc) has been designed and developed for a number of academic programs aimed at developing students' skills in numerical calculations and mathematics, as well as data analysis at the system level. The program also offers specializations in biomedical engineering, utilizing both knowledge and practical skills through studies and reference proposals. This helps students develop proficiency in numerical calculations and mathematics, ultimately supporting them in obtaining a doctoral degree in the medical field.

The program will offer students the opportunity to learn and conduct advanced research in biomedical engineering, based on the national educational framework, with a requirement of no less than 39 credit hours successfully completed, including 33 credit hours at the graduate level and 6 credit hours for the thesis.

Objectives

  1. Equip students with in-depth knowledge of biomedical engineering principles and practices through a rigorous and comprehensive curriculum.
  2. Develop students' ability to apply advanced analytical and problem-solving skills in real-world biomedical engineering scenarios.
  3. Participate the students in academic and research activities, promoting diversity within the program and the broader biomedical engineering community.
