The Master of Cybersecurity and Digital Forensics (CSDF) at Majmaah University is a specialized graduate program designed to prepare highly qualified professionals in the fields of cybersecurity, cyber investigations, and digital forensics. The program responds to evolving technological advancements and emerging security challenges. It integrates theoretical knowledge with practical application, covering critical areas such as system and network security, cyberattack analysis, intrusion detection, and the collection and analysis of digital evidence using advanced tools and techniques.

The program contributes to the protection of digital assets and supports cybersecurity and digital transformation initiatives in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Requirements

Admission to the Master of Cybersecurity and Digital Forensics program is governed by Majmaah University regulations and the decisions of the Department Council.

Required Documents:

  • Academic transcripts.
  • Equivalency certificate (if applicable).
  • English language proficiency certificate.
  • Letters of recommendation.
  • Research proposal.

Admission Criteria and Weighting:

  • 60 % Cumulative GPA in the bachelor’s degree.

  • 20 % Post-Graduate General Aptitude Test (PGAT).

  • 20 % English language test score.

English Language Requirements:

  • Minimum IELTS score: 4.5.

  • Certificate validity: Not more than two years.

Justification for English Language Requirement:

  • The program is delivered, assessed, and documented entirely in English.

  • Proficiency in English enables students to successfully achieve the Program Learning Outcomes (PLOs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and to engage effectively with modern technologies and developments in cybersecurity and digital forensics.
