كلمة رئيس قسم الفيزياء

يسرّني أن أرحب بكم في قسم الفيزياء بكلية العلوم في جامعة المجمعة، الذي تأسس تزامنًا مع إنشاء الكلية في محافظة الزلفي عام 1427هـ. ومنذ انطلاقته، وضع القسم نصب عينيه التميز في التعليم والبحث العلمي وخدمة المجتمع، ليكون أحد الأقسام الرائدة محليًا ودوليًا في مجالات الفيزياء وتطبيقاتها الحديثة. 

لقد أسهمت جهود نخبة من أعضاء هيئة التدريس المؤهلين في بناء قسم متميّز يقدّم برامج أكاديمية متطورة، تُواكب المستجدات العلمية وتلبّي احتياجات سوق العمل الوطني والدولي. وقد أثمرت هذه الجهود عن تخريج كوادر علمية مؤهلة أثبتت كفاءتها العالية في ميادين العمل والتعليم والبحث. يحرص القسم باستمرار على تطوير الخطط الدراسية بما يتماشى مع التطورات التقنية والعلمية المتسارعة، وعلى تعزيز مخرجات التعلم من خلال بيئة تعليمية محفّزة تدعم التفكير النقدي والإبداعي لدى الطلبة. 

كما يولّي القسم اهتمامًا خاصًا بتطوير البحث العلمي عبر تزويد الباحثين بأحدث التجهيزات والمختبرات، وتشجيع النشر في المجلات العالمية المحكمة.

 ويسعى القسم كذلك إلى توسيع آفاق التعاون البحثي والأكاديمي مع الأقسام العلمية داخل الجامعة وخارجها، وبناء شراكات فاعلة مع المؤسسات المحلية والدولية، إلى جانب تعزيز دوره في خدمة المجتمع من خلال البرامج التوعوية والمبادرات العلمية الهادفة. 

وفي الختام، نؤكد التزامنا الدائم بالعمل على تحقيق رؤية الجامعة ورسالتها في إعداد كفاءات وطنية متميزة قادرة على الإسهام في بناء اقتصاد معرفي مستدام.

Message from the Head of the Physics Department

It is my pleasure to welcome you to the Department of Physics at the College of Science, Majmaah University. The department was established in conjunction with the founding of the College in Zulfi in 1427H (2006). Since its inception, the department has been committed to excellence in education, research, and community service, aiming to be a leading academic department both locally and internationally in the field of physics and its modern applications.

Through the dedicated efforts of a distinguished group of faculty members, the department has developed into a strong academic unit that offers advanced and up-to-date programs aligned with scientific and technological progress, as well as the needs of the national and global labor markets. These efforts have resulted in the graduation of highly qualified students who have proven their competence and professionalism in various sectors of employment, education, and research.

The department continuously strives to develop its study plans in line with rapid scientific and technological advancements, and to enhance learning outcomes by fostering an educational environment that encourages creativity, innovation, and critical thinking among students. Furthermore, the department gives great attention to strengthening scientific research by equipping laboratories with state-of-the-art facilities and encouraging faculty members to publish their work in reputable international journals.

In addition, the department seeks to broaden its research and academic collaborations with other scientific departments within Majmaah University and with local and international universities, while maintaining active engagement with the community through educational initiatives and scientific outreach programs.

Finally, the Department of Physics reaffirms its commitment to supporting the vision and mission of Majmaah University by preparing qualified national cadres capable of contributing to building a sustainable knowledge-based economy.
