Community engagement is one of the cornerstones of any leading university. Our mission extends beyond teaching and research to include an active role in addressing the needs of society. At Majmaah University, we are committed to fostering a culture of volunteerism and developing impactful initiatives that serve every member of our community — including people with special needs — in line with our belief in empowerment and inclusion.

Community initiatives are at the heart of our mission. Majmaah University develops and supports projects that align with Vision 2030, strengthen sustainable development, and bring positive change to society.

To streamline this process, we launched “Nubadir”, a digital platform designed to simplify the submission and management of community initiatives. This tool enhances communication between initiative leaders and the university departments, ensuring stronger impact and wider reach.

The Community Service Department is dedicated to developing programs that respond to societal needs and foster partnerships with diverse institutions. Our work also focuses on promoting a culture of service among students and staff, preserving cultural heritage, and integrating social issues into research projects.

In addition, the department works to develop staff skills, track community-focused events, and design guidelines to ensure best practices can be easily applied across a wide range of university activities.

Social responsibility at MU is guided by careful planning and continuous evaluation. We design and implement initiatives based on accurate monitoring, ensuring that every activity meets clear standards.

The university also documents best practices and builds a knowledge base for experts and stakeholders. Our approach includes proposing guidelines, monitoring key events and conferences, encouraging participation, conducting in-depth studies, and developing both academic and professional programs. Through seminars, lectures, and workshops, we aim to create lasting impact.
