Standard Language Tests

Certified Langue Tests TOFEL - This test can be taken at some of the language centers that have agreement with the test provider in USA. - There are three types of the test: paper version (PBT - Paper-based Test), computer-based (CBT - Computer-based Test) and online version (iBT - Internet-based Test). Currently TOFEL CBT is not accepted at the university. - TOEFL scores are only valid for two years STEP - This test can be taken at any branch of the National Center for Assessment in Higher Education in Saudi Arabia. For further details, please visit the website of the center. - STEP scores are only valid for three years IELTS - This test can be taken at the British Council - IELTS scores are only valid for two years Validity of Aptitude and English Tests The National Center for Assessment stated that the validity of tests are as follow: General Aptitude Test ( 5 years) STEP (3 years) TOEFL & IELTS (2 years) Note: The Deanship of Graduate Studies states that any English language test, other than the certified tests, will not be accepted for applying at Majmaah University.
