A workshop was organized by the Department of Evaluation, Assessment and Excellence at the Vice-Rector’s Office for Educational Affairs, on the theme ‘Evaluation and Assessment: Current Status and Prospect”. This workshop, which is one of a series of workshops, aims to improve the efficiency of work performance to meet the highest standards and best practices.
Patronized by Dr. Ahmed Al-Rumaih, Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs, the workshop which took place at the conference room began with a speech delivered by Dr. Al-Rumaih who stressed the importance of holding such events to discuss about evaluation and assessment, being indispensable factors for the development of academia.
On the role played by this workshop to bridge the gap between all units of evaluation and assessment at the university, Dr. Al-Rumaih said this workshop aims to create an environment for all units to exchange knowledge and improve their performance and working environment.
A number of topics have been addressed in the workshop presented by Dr. Essam Al-Maliki, Supervisor of Vice-Rector’s Office, and some these topics are: consultation and opinion exchange with regard to evaluation and assessment.
Mr. Sami Al-Jack, Supervisor of Evaluation, Assessment and Excellence Department, reviewed with the members some topics such as the reports of final exams for first semester 1438/1439.
