DEANSHIP OF STUDENT AFFAIRS ENHANCES THE EMPLOYEE SERVICE QUALITY IN NUTRITION

The Deanship of Student Affairs is always in pursuit of improving the level of health and inspection as well as the efficiency of employees at the University and therefore it held a course titled “Health Inspection” for the nutrition supervisors in cooperation with the Health Center. The course which will be held during the period from 8/1/1435 to 10/1/1435 with 6 hours on daily basis is presented by Rana B. Al-Shaddi who is a food specialist.

The first day included an introduction and the importance of the program. The second day focused on the level of need to supplementary nutrition and the reasons for resorting to them as well as the side effects. It also highlighted the concept of diet, the concept of healthy food system and factors behind the spread of malnutrition. The third day shed a light on the best methods of cooking and nutrition safety as well as the general precausions needs to be taken to ensure the food safety. It also focused food poising and its causes. The participants have expressed their gratitude with the program and described it as a very insightful.

Dr. Hamad al-Gumeizy, Dean of Student Affairs emphasized his total concern with such issues related to nutrition via conducting courses as such issues of paramount significant to the health of students.
