His Excellency the Rector Dr. Khalid Al-Mogren chaired the consultative meeting with the vice-rectos, deans of colleges and supported deanships and directors of administrations. Dr. Al-Mogren began the meeting by welcoming all members and congratulated the them the achievements of the University. He then noted that the purpose of this meeting is to exchange ideas and thoughts pertinent to critical issues of the University as well as reviewing the latest updates of the University in the academic and administrative aspects. He also encouraged them to be more transparent, to work as a team and to communicate on constant basis to upgrade the level of the University for more achievements yet to come.
The secretary of the meeting Dr. Waleed Al-Bishr reviewed the agenda of the meeting which includes the illustrated report about the 3rd meeting of vice-rectors of Saudi universities assigned for operation, maintenance and safety projects hosted by Mr. Nasser Al-Yousfi, Director of Media & Public Relation. Dr. Al-Mogren complimented the efforts being exerted which was chaired by Dr. Mohammad Al-Rukban, Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs.
Prof. Al-Rukban also presented a report about the international cooperation where he showed a diagram that illustrates the decline of contracting with forgivers. Dr. Al-Mogren praised the efforts for preparing this report which was so transparent and directed to reduce the number contracts with non-Saudi.
Dr. Mohammad Al-Sweid, Dean of Scientific Research Deanship gave a presentation about the research centers at the university and the services they provide to faculty members. He also laid the strategic plans for the deanship. The efforts have been praised by the Rector.
A presentation was also given by the Dean of College of Science and Humanities in Hawtat Sudair about the experience of College of Science and Humanities in Hawtat Sudair in receiving freshmen.
An illustrated photo report was also presented about the College of Science in Zulfi by the dean of the college Dr. Mohammad Al-Obodi that included a number activities and participations.
Eventually, Dr. Musallam Al-Dosari gave some comments about the e-sites related to the colleges and supported deanships. The meeting was concluded by outlining the recommendations.
