THE COMMUNITY SERVICE UNIT ATTACHED TO THE RECTORSHIP OF THE COLLEGE FOR POSTGRADUATE STUDIES AND SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH AT THE COLLEGE OF APPLIED MEDICAL SCIENCE HOLDS AN AWARNESS CAMPAIGN ABOUT STROKE AT PANDA MALL

An awareness campaign was held about stroke at Panda Mall in Majmaah by the Community Service Unit attached to the Rector-ship of the College for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research at the College of Applied Medical Science. The campaign was led by Dr. Raed Al-Baradi, Deputy- Dean of College of Applied Medical Science and a number of the unit staff as well as some students.

The purpose of the campaign is to promote awareness among citizens about stroke and the proper means of dealing with patients of stroke as well as the symptoms that occur prior the stroke. It also targeted elderly people, smokers. The campaign also included distributing brochures and surveys. A large number of people have visited the section of the campaign which was a successful attempt by the College.
