His Highness the Rector, Dr. Khalid bin Sa'ad al-Mogren followed up, through the meeting held in his office, the workflow of the Project Management Office at the university with the presence of His Excellency the General Supervisor of the Rector's office Dr. Musallam bin Mohammed Al-Dosari, His Excellency the Rector's adviser Dr. Hamad bin Ibrahim Al-Omran, His Excellency Dean of Information Technology Dr. Omar bin Mohammed Mutaihi, His Excellency the Supervisor of Project Management Office Mr. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Sahli and some of the office employees. A number of issues were discussed during the meeting including the developments of the project management. The Supervisor of the Project Management Office noted that all phases of work and preparations were completed among which is the completion of the project management e-portal design and its technical connectivity. The meeting also discussed some of the technical requirements for the work to be completed and launched officially. His Highness the Rector mentioned during the meeting the importance of following-up the requirements of the project, especially the project management system is one of the distinctive initiatives which expected to make success in the presence of qualified staff who are capable of following-up and implementing in the office, the university colleges and deanships and in administrative and financial affairs which its cooperation is of paramount significant for the success of the project. His Highness also mentioned that one of the indicators for the success of the application of the project management system at the university is the actual needs to regulate the project work at the university and ensure its follow-up and implementation in a proper manner adding that the actual needs and follow-up in the implementation is one of the policies for the university administration when is endorsed. This system also helps to facilitate sending the project requests and its follow-up electronically especially the University colleges are located far from each other in various provinces.
