MU participates in the 20th Annual Seminar of the General Court of Audit

The General Administration of Internal Audit at MU participated in the 20th Annual Seminar of the General Court of Audit. The seminar was attended by specialists from internal audit departments across government entities, alongside several national and international speakers. It focused on discussing the impact of independent auditing as a tool to enhance public accountability, developing effective communication mechanisms with stakeholders to ensure efficiency and integration between government operations and accountability, and emphasizing the importance of a regulatory environment for reliable and effective follow-up.

MU was represented at the seminar by Mr. Mohammed Al-Fayz, Director of the General Administration of Internal Audit, and Mr. Abdullah Al-Thumairi. The seminar featured a broad platform to discuss the latest professional knowledge and successful practices that contribute to improving internal audit processes, adapting to ongoing changes, exchanging expertise among government internal audit personnel, and reviewing recent developments in the implementation and practice of internal audit functions.
