As part of the university’s ongoing digital transformation efforts, MU has launched a set of new digital services aimed at improving academic operations and enhancing the efficiency of teaching and learning processes.
Among these initiatives is the introduction of a Course Description Service on the Blackboard system, developed in collaboration with the Deanship of Information Technology. This new feature allows students and faculty members to easily access approved course descriptions, marking a significant step toward better integration between digital academic systems and a more seamless user experience.
The Vice-Rector's Office also has launched the Academic Program and Study Plan Description Service in cooperation with the Deanship of Information Technology and E-Learning. This service enables academic departments to document and update program and study plan information digitally, in full integration with the “Jawdah” Quality Platform, aligning with academic accreditation and quality assurance standards.
These initiatives are part of a broader strategy by the Vice-Rector's Office for Educational Affairs to advance digital transformation, improve operational efficiency, and simplify access to academic services in line with the University’s Strategic Plan for Advancing Higher Education.
