The College of Nursing, represented by the Student Club, participated in the World Diabetes Day Exhibition, which was organized by the Deanship of Student Affairs under the patronage MU rector, Prof. Abdullah Al-Mezal, and the presence of the Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs, Prof. Mohammad Al-Aboudi.
The exhibition was held in the lobby of the College of Medicine and College of Medical Sciences building, and was attended by a large number of students, faculty members, and visitors.
The college's participation aimed to educate the public about the risks of diabetes and ways to prevent it, highlight the importance of early examination and proper treatment of the disease to avoid its complications, and enable students of the college to apply their health and educational skills in a practical environment.

Public awareness booth on diabetes:
Students provided a simplified explanation of diabetes and its types, causes, and symptoms, as well as tips for preventing it.
Educational brochures containing comprehensive information about the disease were distributed.
Medical Examination booth:
Some of the visitors have had their blood sugar levels measured for free using advanced devices, with simplified instructions based on the results.
Those with high or abnormal readings were directed to consult specialists.
Diabetic Foot Awareness booth:
A detailed explanation of the concept of diabetic foot, and the importance of foot care to prevent complications.
Presenting practical steps for daily foot care, with advice for preventing ulcers and wounds.
Healthy Nutrition booth:
Providing nutritional advice to visitors about foods suitable for diabetics and the importance of nutritional balance.
Displaying samples of healthy meals that can be easily prepared.
Physical Activity booth:
Educating visitors about the importance of exercising and its role in improving blood sugar control.
Providing practical examples of simple exercises.
