The College of Nursing holds a Workshop on Innovation Skills and Creative Idea Development

The Vice-Dean's Office for Graduate Studies and Research and the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Unit, organized a workshop titled “Innovation Skills and Creative Ideation in Nursing,” presented by Dr. Wedad Al-Enzi for nursing students.

The event aimed to strengthen students’ creative thinking and enhance their ability to develop innovative solutions that support the advancement of the healthcare sector. The session introduced the concept of health innovation and highlighted its importance within nursing specialties. It also covered techniques for generating creative ideas, transforming them into practical initiatives, and understanding the steps required to develop an innovative project. The workshop further emphasized teamwork and its role in developing new ideas.

The workshop sought to enhance students’ competence in innovation within nursing, promote a culture of health innovation, and encourage participants to develop entrepreneurial projects. Students were also introduced to the services and programs offered by the Innovation Unit to support emerging initiatives.
