The Student Activities Unit, represented by the Student Club at the College of Nursing, organized a field visit to the Heritage Village in Ushaiger, attended by the Dean of the College, Dr. Ashwaq Asiri. The visit aimed to enhance students’ cultural and national awareness and strengthen their connection to the Kingdom’s history and rich heritage.

During the visit, participants toured the village and explored its traditional architecture and historical artifacts, which reflect aspects of past lifestyles. They also received informative explanations about the village’s history, cultural significance, and its social and historical value to the region.

This initiative is part of the College’s programs and activities designed to broaden students’ knowledge, strengthen their national identity, and enrich their learning experience beyond the classroom in an interactive educational environment.

At the end of the visit, a commemorative shield was presented in appreciation of the efforts of the heritage village organizers.
