E-Learning Deanship Ends the First Phase of Installing E- podium

The Deanship of e-learning and distance learning ended the first phase of installing and supplying e-podium at Majmaah university colleges of (medicine, business management, Applied Medical Sciences and Computer and Information Sciences) the project comes within a series of projects of the Deanship which aims to develop and activate e-learning at the university. E-podium is a platform containing a computer and a display and control screens (both touch screens). It aims to link all means of e-learning in the learning hall (Projector, smart board and audio system) and enabling the lecturer to control these means from the podium to facilitate and provide flexibility when dealing with these devices during the learning process. The Dean of e-learning and distance learning Dr. Musallam Al-Dosari noted that this project in its first phase, includes installation and training processes according to specific schedules primarily targeting specific colleges, there will be next other phases which will provide the building of the preparatory year, Zulfi provinces colleges, Ghaat, Rummah and Hawtat Sudair in addition to the rest of colleges of Majmaah province. The Deanship seeks at the same time to benefit from facilities by scheduling training courses for faculty members; it hopes that this project will be as an enhancement and support to the educational process in accordance with the desired vision.
