A visit to Mishrefa Village
The Faculty of Medicine and Medical Service Department visited Mishrefa Village on Monday, 27/03/1438 to introduce medical services and raise awareness of health and diseases among the community members. Head of the Center along with the Director of the Medical Center and Principal of the primary School where the event was held received the visitors, who provided medical services to 89 patients as well as raising their awareness of diseases, nutrition, obesity and hygiene. Thirty-eight medical students participated in the campaign along with the Head of Public Health Department, doctors and faculty members. Students conducted a small-scale survey in the Village to find out health problems and potential diseases. They were also trained on taking samples of drinking water to analyze them at the laboratories later.
