PREPERATION OF ACADEMIC PROGRAMS FOR ACCREDITATION KICKS OFF UNDER VICE-RECTOR SUPERVISION

Under the follow-up of MU rector, Prof. Saleh Al-Mizil, the first field visit to the College of Education in Zulfi was conducted by the vice-rector for educational affairs, Prof. Mohammed Al-Obudi.

The visit which featured workshops and coordinating meeting aimed to ensure the readiness of some academic programs for accreditation.

During the visit, Prof. Al-Obudi listened to a detailed account from the dean of College of Education, Dr. Nasser Al-Othman, about the developmental endeavors for academic and educational process at the college.

A workshop - held by the Deanship of Quality and Skills Development and chaired by Dr. Feryeh Al-Anizi- focused on discussing the work plan to prepare the academic programs for accreditation.

A similar visit was paid to the College of Science and Humanities in Ghat and the College of Education in Majmaah, and the team was welcomed by their deans, Dr. Omar Al-Omar and Dr. Majed Aba-Hussein, respectively.  The visit included a comprehensive meeting to discuss a variety of issues related to the preparation for accreditation.

The vice-rector, Dr. A-Obudi commended the efforts expended by colleges to prepare their academic programs for accreditation as well as the role played by the Deanship of Quality in this respect.
