MU WARNS STUDENTS TO LOOK AT THE SUN DURING THE ECLIPSE

As part of its social responsibility towards the community, the university launched ‘Always with you’ initiative to educate elementary school students of the harmful effects caused by staring at the sun during the eclipse.
Prof. Musallam Al-Dosari, Vice-Rector, said that this initiative targets a number of male and female elementary schools to raise their awareness about the risks of gazing at the sun during the eclipse that will occur on Thursday 29/4/1441.
Special teams were formed by the Extreme Weather Unit in cooperation with some schools to conduct this campaign.
The Vice-Rector extended special thanks to MU Rector, Dr. Khalid Al-Muqren for supporting the community initiatives to serve the public affairs at large.
