MU offers a Comprehensive Training Toolkit for faculty members - جامعة المجمعة

The Vice Rector’s Office for Educational Affairs at MU has launched a comprehensive training toolkit for faculty members which include all workshops along with their audio and video recordings.

The toolkit features four specialized training workshops. The first focuses on developing academic courses using artificial intelligence applications, transforming university courses from static content into meaningful learning experiences. The second addresses integrating academic courses with skills, based on the principle of “learning through skills, not just information.” The third explores the future of artificial intelligence in education, aiming toward a smart and sustainable learning environment. The fourth highlights innovation in graduation projects, linking knowledge to practical application.

To ensure broad access, the Vice Rector’s Office has coordinated with college deans, encouraging them to share the program’s content with faculty members. This reflects the belief that knowledge sharing and widespread access are essential pillars in building a distinguished academic environment.

Prof. Mohammed Al-Aboudi, Vice Rector for Educational Affairs, expressed his optimism that the outcomes of these workshops will translate into tangible progress in digital excellence.

Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Qiffari, Supervisor of the Vice Rector’s Office for Educational Affairs, pointed out that this initiative aligns with the university’s direction to improve teaching competencies and empowering faculty members to effectively utilize artificial intelligence tools and develop curricula in line with the demands of digital transformation in higher education.
