A medical team from the Department of Medical Services has participated in conducting a workshop held by the General Administration of Services under the theme: "Healthcare Crisis Management".

A coronavirus vaccine center was launched by MU rector, Dr. Khalid Al-Muqren at the general administration building for the university staff and their family members.

The Department of Medical Services provided an ambulance for those who took part in observing Shawwal and Dul-Hijjah crescent. 

The medical team of the Medical Services Department has participated in the futsal tournament which was held in Majmaah and Zulfi. First aid services were provided injured players.   

The Medical Team in cooperation with the College of Medicine paid a visit to the Rehabilitation Center in Majmaah. All patients with Down syndrome were checked and had a blood sample taken to examine if their thyroids were under active.  

The Medical Services Department launched a Seasonal Influenza Vaccine Campaign at the at the different deanship and administrations of the university in Majmaah and Zulfi.

A lecture entitled “Multiple Sclerosis” was held for staff of housing services (management of housing, university security, operation and maintenance) by the Medical Services. The lecture was delivered by the medical director, Dr.

A female medical team from the Medical Services Department took part in the early detection of breast cancer exhibition, held at Majmaah Mall.   

The Medical Services Department at MU held a lecture on Cardiomyopathy Disease at Al-Faisali Sports Club in Hermah. The lecture was presented by Dr. Asir Al-Sharman who highlighted via a documentary film the process Cardiopulmonary resuscitation.

MU Rector, Dr. Khalid Al-Mugren, launched an anti-smoking clinic at the main campus of MU. The launch was in the presence of the Vice-Rector for Education Affairs, Dr. Ahmed Al-Rumaih, deans and representatives of King Khalid Hospital in Majmaah.

MU Rector, Dr. Khalid Al-Mugren, issued an order to re-assign Dr. Abdullah Al-Olayan’s as an executive director of the Medical Services Department for two years. 

The Department of Medical Services won the 6th place in MU Rector Award for Sub-domain. The award was handed by MU Rector during the ceremony which was held on Sunday in the auditorium of main campus.
