• عدم تكرار وتداخل الجمعيات التابعة لجامعات المملكة المختلفة والهيئات الوطنية الأخرى.
• عدم إنشاء جمعية مختصة بتخصص فرعي ينتمي لجمعية قائمة واستبدالها بمجموعة علمية متخصصة تنتمي للجمعية القائمة.
• أن يكون عدد المنتمين لتخصص الجمعية الدقيق ممن تنطبق عليهم صفة العضوية العاملة عدداً مناسباً ، وذلك حسب طبيعة التخصص.
• وضوح رؤية ورسالة وأهداف الجمعية.
• وجود تصور واقعي لموارد الجمعية المتوقعة وجهات القطاع الخاص المرتبطة بمجال تخصصها.
• وضوح القواعد الداخلية للجمعية المفصلة للقواعد المنظمة للجمعيات العلمية.

- To avoid duplication and overlapping of Scientific societies affiliated with the various universities in the Kingdom and other national bodies.

- Not to establish Scientific societies specialized in a sub-specialty under an existing association and to replace it with a specialized scientific group under the existing association.

- The number of members who are specialized in the same area of the Scientific societies and who meet the working membership criteria, should be appropriate.

- Clarity of the vision, mission, and goals of the Scientific societies.

• تسهيل أعمال الجمعيات العلمية بالجامعة ، وخدمة أعضائها ومنسوبيها ، ودعم إنتاجها ومقترحاتها.
• تقديم الاستشارات الإدارية فيما يتعلق باللوائح الداخلية للجمعيات العلمية.
• خلق فرص التواصل بين الجمعيات العلمية والجامعة والمؤسسات العلمية والهيئات المهنية المختلفة بما يتوافق مع الأنظمة واللوائح.
• دعم وتنمية نتائج ومخرجات الجمعيات العلمية البحثية في مجالات تخصصها .

- Facilitating the work of scientific associations, serving their members and affiliates, and funding their output and proposals.

- Providing administrative consultations regarding the internal regulations of scientific associations.

- Creating communication opportunities among scientific associations, the university, scientific institutions, and various professional bodies in accordance with the regulations and rules.

- Funding and developing the results and outcomes of research-based scientific associations in their respective fields of specialization.
