Upon the instructions of the official in charge of the deanship of the preparatory year, the committee of the academic affairs have been formed, which constitutes the basic unit for running the educational process in the preparatory year. From the very early beginning of its foundation, and under a complete supervision from the preparatory year official in charge, the committee has carried out the following tasks:
Distributing and labeling the classrooms.

1. يدرس الطالب مستويين متتالين ( خلال فصلين دراسيين ) لاستكمال مواد السنة التحضيرية
2. لا يسمح بأجراء عمليات الحذف والاضافة ويعتبر الجدول ثابت للطالب طيلة فترة دراسته بالسنة التحضيرية.
3. تتم عملية التسجيل تلقائياً من قبل عمادة القبول والتسجيل طبقاً للخطة الدراسية للسنة التحضيرية.
The members of faculty are responsible for getting approval of their publications. Once the paper is ready for submission, the respective author need to fill-up the form available in the website and submit it with the similarity index from Turnitin to the Office of the Dean.
All scientific papers must be submitted to the CCIS-MU Dean for recording and clearance processing if they resulted from work performed under the CCIS-Majmaah University affiliation.
Preparatory year program Courses
The students of PYP study in any tracks either the medical health track which qualifies students for medicine, dentistry colleges & the colleges of applied medical science or the scientific engineering course which qualifies students for colleges of engineering, science & computer science. Each track has two plans in which the courses are distributed on two semesters.
