About the Office of the Assistant Dean for Educational Affairs

The Office of the Assistant Dean for Educational Affairs is responsible for providing all types of support to the Office of Vice-Dean of Preparatory Year to achieve its objectives. Realizing that students at the core of educational process, The Office of the Assistant Dean for Educational Affairs strives to improve the quality of academic programs by providing excellent educational services that enable students to both acquire knowledge and master different skills that he or she will need during study period.

Study System

1. A student will attend two consecutive terms to complete the requirements of Preparatory Year 2. The timetable is fixed during the study period at Preparatory Year and students may not be able to add or drop courses. 3. Students do not need to register for every semester; they are considered registered according the study plan of the Preparatory Year. 4. In case of a student failed one of the Preparatory Year’s courses, he/she is allowed to retake that course in the upcoming semester. 5. A student has to pass all Preparatory Year courses successfully at the end of the first semester.
