نصَّت المادة الرابعة والثلاثون من نظام مجلس التعليم العالي والجامعات على الآتي:
مع التقيد بما يقتضي به هذا النظام وغيره من الأنظمة وما يقرره مجلس التعليم العالي أو مجلس الجامعة
يختص مجلس الكلية أو المعهد بالنظر في الأمور التي تتعلق بالكلية أو المعهد وله على الخصوص:
1- إقتراح تعيين أعضاء هيئة التدريس , والمعيدين , والمحاضرين ,وإعارتهم ,وندبهم , وترقياتهم .
2- إقتراح خطط الدراسة أو تعديلها مع التنسيق بين الأقسام .
3- إقتراح المناهج الدراسية والكتب المقررة والمراجع في أقسام الكلية أو المعهد .
The Tasks of the College of Education's Council
Article Thirty-Four of the Law of the Council of Higher Education and Universities stipulates the following:
The college or institute council has the authority to consider matters related to the college or institute, and in particular:
1. Propose the recruitment of faculty members and teaching assistants and lecturers including their secondment and promotion.
2. Propose or modify study plans in coordination with departments.
3. Propose a curriculum, textbooks and references at the college.
Message from the Word from the Secretary of the Council - College of Education
The Council Secretary is a faculty member who is responsible for organizing the work of the College Council, preparing its agenda, documenting its minutes and recommendations, and writing its decisions. He undertakes the following tasks:
- Receiving suggestions for topics from the academic departments to be discussed in the Council
- Supervising the preparation of the College Council’s agenda and distributing it to members
- Writing minutes of meetings, ensuring that all members sign the minutes.
