The Applied College in Remah organized special events on the World Diabetes Day in cooperation with Remah General Hospital.
The events included awareness lectures on the importance of preventing diabetes and ways to live with it. A walking marathon was held for students, faculty members and employees to encourage them to avoid diabetes.
The events also featured a health pavilion to measure blood sugar and provide medical consultations.
Many students and employees participated in the event that serves public health and enhances community partnership with health authorities.
